![]() ![]() ![]() I think it has noticeably better reliability for detection than many opensource products, and with the free test utilities and push client, it's easier to troubleshoot, and can operate in a Client-Push mode, instead of just a server-pull mode like most competing products. It's one of the few products I've seen in this area with a competitive price, and doesn't require a degree to install, configure, or operate. I would like to hear your recommendations and the pros and cons for PRTG and Lansweeper from those who have used them.Īside from active network bandwidth monitoring (which I use our watchguard firewall for) I've been using Lansweeper for about 7 years now, and it has matured greatly. Most of them are much more expensive than PRTG and Lansweeper and in case of ManageEngine you have to get many products. The other programs that I have read about are PDQ Deploy & Inventory, Device42, ManageEngine, Goverlan, SysAid. The sensors that it offers are quite useful and I might have to buy a license for 500. ![]() I am doing a research for about a month, I have tried Spiceworks Network Monitor and Lansweeper.īoth seems to be working fine but Lansweeper is a bit better as AIO solution I guess.Ībout Network / Bandwidth / Servers monitoring PRTG is the only that I have checked and seems to be pretty good. 5+ Ubiquiti AP AC PRO (to be installed).Servers health / uptime / services state.Patch management, remote updates etc (Java updates and software in general).Asset Management (with pretty deep system information),.The functionality that is needed is a bit common, I am looking for, possibly two(?), programs to manage the all the equipment best way possible. Hello everyone, once again I need your advice! ![]()
